If only all of America political life was as democratic as baseball. Then we would get the chance to let Dick Cheney know exactly how we feel about him, and he would not get to pre-screen his audience like his boss.

If we had to give up the debacle that was the Montreal Expos in order to get an opportunity to give instant feedback to publicity seeking members of the executive branch, I say the cost was little and the benefit enormous.
