First Impressions

Texas is hot, and it is full of Texans. Nevertheless, it beats the heck out of Jersey.

Driving 18 hours in one day is not a bad idea: it is a terrible idea.

People in the Central Time Zone do not need to stay up as late to see the end of a baseball game or the Daily Show. It's nice.

My nephew is the cutest kid to look like me since, well, me.

We are moved in, unpacked, and looking for a dog.

Good to see that you guys are getting settled! A dog is a good idea. A very good idea indeed.

Mutts are the best...take it from your resident dog expert who grew up with cats. And humane societies are great places to get puppies because most of them are rescued animals.

Matt, you'd be proud. I am now officially a dog person. No, I haven't gotten to the "cat-hater" stage, but I have at least moved closer to real humanity with this latest development!

You guys have a great day! Please tell Christine congrats for us. We're looking forward to the next time we get to see you guys!

Rock on!

(I thought I should leave you a typical comment one would find on Xanga just to mix things up a bit).
